Finance Manager Finance Services Team

Corlann West is seeking an experienced, strategic and dynamic Finance Manager to lead our Finance Services Team and support the delivery of high-quality services across Galway and Roscommon.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for:

Leading core finance operations including payroll, accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting

Supporting organisational governance, budgeting and financial planning

Providing strategic financial analysis and business partnering support to operational managers

Leading finance systems improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

Supporting audit, compliance and public sector financial governance requirements

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance and senior managers across the organisation to support informed decision-making and organisational sustainability.

Salary Scale Department of Health Grade VII

Hours 70 hours per fortnight

Annual Leave 30 days per annum

Essential Requirements

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)

Significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role

Experience leading and managing finance teams

Strong management accounting, budgeting and financial analysis experience

Experience with ERP financial systems and financial reporting

Excellent leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills

A full clean driving licence and use of a car is an essential requirement of the post.

Desirable Requirements

Experience within healthcare, disability services or the public sector

Experience supporting finance system implementation, IFMS or finance transformation initiatives.
