We’re looking for a Finance Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is central to how Finance operates day‑to‑day, ensuring our systems, data, and reporting are accurate, reliable, and enabling better decision‑making across the organisation.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and reporting tools, and who takes pride in accuracy and structure. You’ll play a key part in maintaining finance systems, developing reporting solutions, and supporting the wider Finance function with the data they rely on.
The work is varied and detail‑focused. From system administration and data integrity to building Power BI reports and supporting finance processes, you’ll be involved in the operational backbone of Finance.
This role suits someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, improving how things work, and making sure the detail is right.
Finance Systems \& Data Ownership
You’ll take ownership of key finance systems, ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and structured correctly. This includes systems related to timesheets, expenses, and company cards. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining data integrity so that Finance processes can run smoothly and without delays.
Reporting \& Business Intelligence
You’ll design, build, and maintain reports using Power BI, working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, usable outputs. You’ll also develop and maintain Excel models to support financial analysis and reporting across the organisation.
System Development \& Improvements
You’ll support ongoing system improvements and migrations, helping Finance evolve its tools and processes. This includes identifying opportunities to improve data flows, reporting capabilities, and system usability.
Finance Operations Support
You’ll contribute to the smooth running of Finance by supporting key operational processes, including delivering finance system inductions to new joiners and ensuring systems are set up correctly from day one.
Organisation \& Delivery
This is a detail‑heavy role where you’ll manage multiple priorities at once. You’ll keep systems updated, track changes, respond to requests, and ensure reporting outputs are delivered accurately and on time.
You May Be a Good Fit If You… * Have experience working with data, reporting, or finance systems in an analytical or operational role * Are confident using Excel and Power BI to build reports and models * Enjoy working with systems and ensuring data accuracy and consistency * Are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines * Naturally spot errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in data * Take pride in producing accurate, high‑quality work * Are comfortable working with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
Desirable (but not essential): * Experience with SQL, MS Access, or similar tools * Exposure to finance systems such as Sage, expenses platforms, or invoicing tools * Experience supporting system migrations or process improvements
