Nice And Bright is a fast-growing specialty lighting company serving homes and businesses throughout the Twin Cities. We specialize in permanent architectural lighting, landscape lighting, seasonal lighting, outdoor audio, and related electrical systems.

We’re growing quickly, and we’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Field Operations Assistant who wants to get in on the ground floor and grow with us.

This is a hands-on position for someone who likes variety, doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty, and takes pride in being the person the team can count on.

No two days will look exactly the same.

One day you might be helping prepare materials for a large installation. The next you might be delivering equipment to a crew, helping at a community event, organizing the shop, picking up materials from a supplier, assisting installers in the field, or helping us follow up with potential customers.

You’ll get exposure to nearly every part of how a growing trades company operates.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

• Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare and stage materials for upcoming installations
• Keep our shop, vehicles, tools, and inventory organized
• Deliver supplies to installation crews throughout the Twin Cities
• Assist installation crews with basic field work
• Load and unload vehicles and equipment
• Help set up and staff community events, trade shows, and marketing events
• Distribute marketing materials and assist with local lead-generation efforts
• Take jobsite photos and help document completed projects
• Perform basic customer follow-up and lead-setting tasks
• Help maintain equipment and company vehicles
• Assist with seasonal lighting preparation and inventory
• Handle miscellaneous field and operational tasks that keep our crews productive
• Step in wherever the team needs an extra set of capable hands

Who We’re Looking For

We’re less concerned about having the perfect résumé and more concerned about finding the right person.

You’ll probably be a great fit if you:

• Show up when you say you will
• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Can work independently without needing constant supervision
• Are organized and pay attention to details
• Are comfortable talking with customers
• Enjoy working both indoors and outdoors
• Don’t mind driving throughout the Twin Cities
• Can safely lift and carry approximately 50 lbs.
• Are comfortable learning to use ladders, tools, and equipment
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean enough driving record to operate company vehicles

Construction, electrical, landscaping, warehouse, delivery, sales, or customer-service experience is helpful, but not required.

We can teach skills. We can’t teach reliability, attitude, or effort.
