Key responsibilities:
1. Perform on-site installation, daily maintenance, troubleshooting and rapid resolution of issues related to test systems to maximize production line availability.
2. Communicate closely with customers and internal project teams to address relevant issues in project delivery in a timely manner.
3. Support project delivery by deploying, installing, integrating and validating test systems (including automation line, fixture, test instruments and software) at customer sites.
4. Implement upgrades and modifications to existing equipment based in engineering change request.
5. Deploying, installing, debug and maintaining automation line, appearance machine, packing machine etc.
6. Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide data driven insights for product and process improvement.
7. Create and update technical documentation, including system configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures, and be responsible for customer training.
8. Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation \& Mechatronics, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in test automation development; prior experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector is an added advantage.
3. Prior on-site support experience is preferred.
4. Ability to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Malay is an advantage to support effective engagement and negotiations with diverse suppliers and stakeholders.
5. Willingness to travel for work assignments.
6. Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability.
Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
