Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, professional nursing care to fertility and gynaecology patients.
- Assist fertility specialists during consultations and minor procedures.
- Prepare patients for investigations and treatments, including fertility assessments and assisted reproductive procedures.
- Assist with procedures such as egg retrievals, embryo transfers, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and other fertility-related treatments.
- Educate and support patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records.
- Assist with medication preparation, stock control, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, nursing standards, and clinic policies.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, embryologists, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) issued by the Nursing Board Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in fertility, obstetrics \& gynaecology, operating theatre, or outpatient clinic will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centred, and professional.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional languages are an advantage.
