Features Writer/ Features Editor

ABOUT THE ROLE

APX Luxury is looking for a Features Writer \| Features Editor to join the editorial team of PRESTIGE (Thailand). Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the candidate will be responsible for developing and writing engaging features across print and digital platforms, while contributing to the brand’s editorial voice, audience growth, and digital KPIs.

The ideal candidate is a talented English writer with a deep understanding of Thailand’s luxury lifestyle landscape, and the ability to turn ideas into compelling, well-researched stories.

The role is open only to Thai Nationals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop original story ideas, features and editorial angles across a variety of luxury topics that include travel, dining, real estate, art, culture, design, watches, jewellery, and other lifestyle sectors that appeal to a unique demographic of UHNWIs and HNWIs.

• Identify relevant personalities, industry leaders, creatives, tastemakers, and movers and shakers, and write engaging stories about them.

• Be in the know about important global trends, developments, and cultural topics relevant to the luxury lifestyle sphere and local scene.

• Produce digital-exclusive content that is fully SEO-optimised while maintaining PRESTIGE’s unique editorial tone.

• Work closely with the editorial team to develop content that drives engagement, reach and audience growth.

• Monitor the media landscape to identify emerging trends.

• Represent PRESTIGE at events and on press trips.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in journalism, editorial, or content writing, preferably within luxury, lifestyle, or news media.

• Excellent English writing and communication skills.

• Strong understanding of the Thai luxury, lifestyle, and cultural landscape, with knowledge of Southeast Asia being an advantage.

• A genuine interest in a wide range of luxury lifestyle-related topics, and writing compelling profiles of people who are doing extraordinary things.

• A deep appreciation for design and craftsmanship.

• Proven ability to develop original story ideas and write engaging, well-researched feature stories.

• Strong interviewing and storytelling skills, with the ability to bring personalities and subjects to life.

• Excellent command of grammar, structure, and tone.

• Ability to work quickly and independently while managing multiple stories and daily editorial deadlines.

• Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress.

• Knowledge of digital publishing and SEO best practices.

• Social media-savvy, with a strong awareness of trending topics and digital content formats.

• Understanding of digital KPIs such as traffic, engagement, and reach, and how editorial content can contribute to audience growth.

• Detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced editorial environment
