We are a fast-growing fashion company, looking for a fashion designer who has strong interests \& experience with baby, children, ladies, and men's wear.
PREREQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years experience in the fashion industry
- Ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in fashion design or related field
- Proven success in designing and launching commercial collections
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends
- Possesses sketching ability and technical drawing skills
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fashion design process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to carry out concept research, preparation of mood board proposals, outfit designs, colorway, detailing, and fabrication of in-season trends.
- On-time completion of design collections with detailed technician specifications, including material, trims, print, and embroidery artwork requirements using computer-aided design (AI \& PS).
- Have a great knowledge of color theory, textures and patterns, fabrication, graphic design fundamentals, and current fashion trends.
- Meet with the Sales Manager to discuss sales reports and customer feedback.
- Able to do graphic design \& create appealing illustrations for various collections.
- To assist superiors and take up ad-hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.
- Excellent time management must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to create original and eye-catching designs that appeal to our target market.
- Photography experience is a bonus.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
