JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Design Room Intern to join our busy fashion supplier design team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced fashion environment, supporting designers across multiple product categories.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the design team with trend research, market analysis, administrative tasks, and day-to-day design room operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the design team in creating seasonal trend reports and presentations.
· Conduct regular shop reports and competitor analysis, identifying key trends, colours, fabrics, and product opportunities.
· Assist with sourcing inspiration, trend imagery, and market research.
· Help prepare design boards, mood boards, and customer presentations.
· Organise and maintain sample libraries, fabric archives, and design resources.
· Provide general administrative support to the design team, including filing, data entry, printing, and document management.
· Assist with sample tracking and ensuring the design room remains organised and presentable.
· Support designers with ad hoc tasks and project work as required.
· Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills \& Experience
· Studying towards or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Textiles, or a related subject.
· Strong interest in fashion trends, retail, and the supplier market.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) is desirable.
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
