ROLE: Centre Manager

LOCATION: Dungloe or Letterkenny

SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday–Friday

WRE Premier Developments Ltd seek to hire a highly motivated, organised, and experienced Centre Manager to join a dynamic team in Dungloe.

This is an exciting opportunity with a reputable and fast-growing accommodation provider. We seek a proactive and experienced centre manager to join our expanding team. This dynamic and rewarding role requires a potent blend of social services expertise, business administration skills, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery following accommodation policies and procedures.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Centre Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact, liaising with the service provider, local authorities and community organisations
  • Ensure the centre fully complies with policies and procedures. Oversee accommodation and resident support services to maintain a safe, dignified, and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with child protection and safeguarding policies and act as a Designated Liaison Person (DLP) where required.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Resident Welfare \& Support:
  • Foster a trauma-informed, compassion focussed and culturally sensitive environment, supporting residents with diverse needs.
  • Coordinate with social workers, NGOs, and statutory agencies to ensure appropriate health, education, legal, and psychosocial supports for residents.
  • Support resident integration programs, including social, educational, and well-being initiatives.
  • Handle complaints, grievances, and conflicts with a focus on a mediation approach to resolution.

Personal, Financial \& Facilities Management

  • Act and contribute to the staff team, engaging with appropriate training, supervision, and performance management.
  • Foster and partake in a culture of professionalism, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Resource management by responsible purchasing, inventory management and allocation of resources within the centre.
  • Manage building maintenance reporting, health \& safety compliance, and monitor risk assessments.
  • Liaise with the Operations/Facilities Manager to manage suppliers and contractors to maintain high service standards.

Essentials:

  • Proven experience in accommodation, social services, emergency housing, or similar settings - eligible for CORU registration would be an advantage.
  • Strong IT and administrative skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
