Kitchen Unit Assembly Operative

Location: Dundalk, Louth
Job Type: Full-time, 6 Month Contract

We are looking for a reliable and practical person to join our workshop team assembling kitchen units.

Previous cabinet-making experience is not required. This role would suit someone who is comfortable using basic hand and power tools and enjoys practical, hands-on work.

The main part of the job involves assembling pre-cut kitchen cabinets and units in our workshop, ready for delivery to customers.

Main Duties

• Assembling kitchen cabinets and units
• Following simple drawings and assembly instructions
• Using basic hand and power tools
• Fitting hinges, drawer runners and other cabinet hardware
• Checking finished units for quality
• Moving materials and completed units around the workshop
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Helping with other general workshop duties when required

What We're Looking For

You do not need to be a qualified cabinet maker or have previous kitchen manufacturing experience.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is practical and good with their hands
• Can use basic tools such as drills and screwdrivers
• Can follow instructions and work accurately
• Takes pride in doing a job properly
• Is reliable and punctual
• Can work well as part of a team
• Is comfortable working in a busy workshop environment

Experience in construction, DIY, furniture assembly, manufacturing or similar hands-on work would be useful, but full training will be provided.

This is a good opportunity for someone looking to develop practical workshop skills and learn more about kitchen manufacturing.

Pay: From €16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
