Facility Manager

Primary Function:

· Manage a group of engineers and technicians:-

- To maintain utilities supplies to the manufacturing requirement.

- Support Environmental Health \& Safety operations and compliance to Malaysia

EHS regulations.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Lead and coordinates routine operations and preventative maintenance activities related to utilities equipment such as electricity supply, air compressors, chillers, heaters, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, DI water system, wastewater treatment plants and related utilities.

· Develop facilities and maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.

· Resolve complaints and feedback. To make inspections and ensure all defects and damages are made within a certain time and period.

· Provide guidance, training to all staffs. To conduct regular audit with proper checklist to ensure good quality, standard and function of the building.

· Schedule, organize, manage and supervise day-to-day maintenance activities, troubleshoot and repairing of facilities systems.

· Ensuring proper upkeep of engineering and building systems. Manage and oversee the performance of service providers.

· Dealing with suppliers and contractors to ensure that the services provided are complete, timely and effective. Work closely with building maintenance contractors, fire protection, contractors, mechanics, electricians, cleaners, security firms, pest control and etc.

· Ensures that the facilities is clean and maintained accordingly.

· Ensure compliance to all local council laws, maintain the building in good condition. To liaise with various departments pertaining to all regulatory matters of the building.

· Monitor department expenses and budget (OPEX).

· Any others task assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualification:

· Degree in any engineering or any others related field.

· Minimum 5 years leadership in utilities and facilities management

- Experienced in industrial environment.

- Leadership experience is and added advantage.

- Certification in waste water treatment or any relevant certification in maintenance

would be an added advantage.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
