Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for curious and highly motivated individuals who are passionate about data,
technology and continuous learning. Successful candidates combine strong analytical thinking
with a willingness to solve complex problems and collaborate in a dynamic, international
environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Knowledge of SQL and Python.
Understanding of Big Data platforms fundamentals, relational database concepts, ETL/ELT
processes and Data Warehousing principles.
Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)

or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Minimum 3 months of relevant commercial, academic or project-based experience.
Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills, including the use of modern digital
tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving and business outcomes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and willingness to work
effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Ideally, you'll also have

Experience working with modern data engineering technologies and frameworks.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts and best practices.
Understanding of data visualization and reporting solutions.
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD or version control tools.
Participation in university, technology or innovation-related projects.
German and/or French language skills.

The EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship is a highly selective program designed for

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will join a carefully selected cohort of high-potential talent and
participate in an intensive learning journey that combines hands-on project experience,
