Experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

An excellent opportunity have come up to join the Fyffes Team at our state of the art facility in Balbriggan. We are looking to hire one permanent position as Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver at Fyffes International SA ** forklift and PPT Driving experience is essential for this position **

This is a full time role, operating 11 hour shifts, 3 days on 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off, over a 2 week period.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working alongside a team of forklift truck drivers and assembling orders, intake of fruit and consumables, loading and unloading of rooms, and a timely efficient delivery of fruit to production and customer sales orders.
- To achieve targets and work alongside warehouse staff \& supervisors.
- Organise the accurate \& productive loading and unloading of vehicles and ensure vehicles leave with the correct documentation, cargo and temperature regime.
- Collaborate with Ripening and Quality to ensure good fruit delivery service levels.
- Collaborate with Quality in dealing with box quality, fruit rejections, waste disposal and support

- Manage, Check and control production systems to ensure compliance
- Order collation and distribution
- Ensure that the working area is kept tidy and complies with H\&S regulations

KEY SKILLS:
- Must have Valid Fork Lift and PPT Licence - Experienced driver
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the English language.
- Good numerical skills.
- Hands on approach.
- Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure.
- Decisive with a need to be able to prioritize work load.

OTHER INFORMATION:
- The ideal candidate should be self motivated, very flexible and a good team player.
- Shifts are now 11 hour shifts 3 and 4 days a week,
- The role will involve working Bank Holidays and weekends as per shift pattern.

Fluent in English

2 years or more experience in this role.
