Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness is expanding to West Springs, and we are looking for an experienced Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our newest Calgary location as an independent contractor.

With two established Calgary clinics and our new West Springs location opening soon, Evolve offers an opportunity to build and grow your massage therapy practice within an established multidisciplinary clinic group — without taking on the overhead, staffing, administration, and operational responsibilities of running a clinic independently.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to an RMT who has developed strong clinical skills, professional referral relationships, or an existing patient following and is looking for a modern, professionally managed environment in which to continue growing.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Massage Therapist who wants to build a strong long-term practice at our newest West Springs location.

The successful practitioner will operate as an independent contractor while benefiting from the infrastructure, administration, marketing, clinic systems, and professional environment of the Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness group.

We are particularly interested in speaking with RMTs who enjoy working with musculoskeletal conditions, active individuals, sports-related concerns, injury recovery, and patients seeking ongoing therapeutic care.

The ideal practitioner will have strong hands-on clinical skills, excellent communication, and an interest in working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough patient histories and assessments appropriate to massage therapy
• Developing individualized, patient-centered treatment plans
• Providing safe and effective therapeutic massage treatments
• Applying appropriate massage therapy and soft-tissue techniques based on patient presentation and treatment goals
• Educating patients regarding self-care, mobility, recovery, and strategies to support treatment outcomes
• Monitoring patient response and adapting treatment plans when appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with patients
• Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners when appropriate
• Maintaining required professional association membership, liability insurance, and continuing education
• Maintaining professional standards appropriate to massage therapy practice in Alberta
• Actively developing and growing your massage therapy practice

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized massage therapy education program meeting applicable professional association and insurer requirements
• Minimum 2,200 hours of massage therapy education
• Active membership and good standing with a recognized professional massage therapy association in Alberta
• Required professional liability insurance
• Strong hands-on clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to professional, patient-centered care
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications and Assets

The following are considered assets but are not required:

• 3+ years of clinical massage therapy experience
• Strong therapeutic and deep-tissue massage skills
• Experience treating musculoskeletal and sports-related concerns
• Experience working with active populations or athletes
• Experience with injury recovery and rehabilitation-focused care
• Experience with myofascial techniques
• Experience with trigger-point therapy and other advanced soft-tissue approaches
• Additional training in specialized massage therapy techniques
• Experience collaborating with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, or other healthcare practitioners
• Established professional referral relationships
• An existing patient following
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a successful patient practice
• Interest in building a long-term presence within the West Springs community

Independent Contractor Structure

This is an independent-contractor opportunity.

The Registered Massage Therapist will maintain professional autonomy over their practice while operating within Evolve Chiropractic & Wellness.

Compensation is based on a competitive percentage-based structure.

Evolve provides the clinic environment, front-desk and administrative support, established clinic systems, and marketing support, allowing practitioners to focus on patient care and growing their practice.

Location and Schedule

The new clinic is located in West Springs in southwest Calgary.

The clinic will operate Monday through Saturday.

Practitioner schedules are flexible and will be established collaboratively between Evolve and the successful practitioner based on practitioner availability, patient demand, and clinic needs.

Both substantial part-time and full-time practice schedules may be accommodated.
