Experienced Hard Landscaper

We are looking for an experienced Hard Landscaper to join our small landscaping team based in Hampstead Norreys, West Berkshire.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a minimum of 3 years' relevant hard landscaping experience who knows the trade and can confidently get stuck into a project without needing constant supervision.

We're looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable and takes genuine pride in their work – someone who enjoys landscaping, cares about the quality of the finished result and would like to become an important part of a small team.

We undertake a varied range of garden landscaping projects for private clients throughout the local area.

The work includes:

- Paving, patios, paths and steps
- Groundworks and ground preparation
- Setting out, levels and drainage
- Brickwork, blockwork and stone walling
- Fencing, gates and timber work
- Decking and garden structures
- Edging and preparation for lawns and planting
- Pond and natural swimming pond construction and maintenance
- Working from garden designs and plans
- General hard landscaping and garden construction

You don't need to be an expert in every area, but you should have good all-round hard landscaping knowledge and practical experience and be confident completing work to a high standard.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has a minimum of 3 years' relevant hard landscaping experience
- Is hardworking, dependable and physically capable
- Can work independently as well as part of a small team
- Is practical, proactive and able to think ahead on site
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in a quality finish
- Is professional and respectful when working at clients' homes
- Is confident using landscaping tools and machinery
- Has experience operating relevant plant and machinery, ideally including a mini digger
- Holds a full UK driving licence – essential
- Experience towing and manoeuvring a trailer would be an advantage

What we offer:

- £35,000–£40,000 per year, depending on skills, knowledge and experience
- Company van provided for work
- All tools and equipment provided
- Full-time, permanent position
- Working hours 7.30am–4.30pm
- 21 days' annual leave plus bank holidays

- Predominantly local work

We are based in Hampstead Norreys and generally work within approximately a 10–15 mile radius, including Newbury, Chieveley, Goring \& Streatley, Pangbourne, Upper Basildon, Hermitage and the surrounding villages.
