Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, non-alcoholic drinks, and light food items with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and beverage service stations
• Handle cash transactions confidently, processing payments and giving accurate change using basic math skills
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong background in coffee preparation and beverage service
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
• Previous café experience is highly preferred; beverage crafting skills are essential
• Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting light loads, and maintaining energy throughout shifts

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
