Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor/Honors in any discipline
  • Formal training in Customs, VAT, or related fields will be given preference.
Experience
  • 2 to 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments Accessories
Additional Requirements
  • Age 25 to 40 years
  • Frequent travel to the factory inside Dhaka.
  • Computer literacy in both Bangla and English is essential.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Bangla.
  • Strong self-motivational, negotiation, and bargaining skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure full compliance with current regulations of Customs and other regulatory authorities under the Government of Bangladesh (GOB).
  • Handle all Bond License-related matters, including:
  • Obtaining new licenses.
  • Renewal and modification of existing licenses.
  • Preparation and renewal of General Bond documents.
  • Renew and maintain all necessary company licenses on time.
  • Prepare for and confidently face Customs audits and preventive officer visits.
  • Maintain and update the In-Bond and Ex-Bond registers regularly in compliance with Customs regulations.
  • Prepare yearly import and export statements in alignment with UD (Utilization Declaration) and audit requirements.
  • Draft audit note sheets and liaise with audit teams accordingly.
  • Prepare, submit, and obtain Utilization Permissions (UP) from the Customs office.
  • Liaise with lien banks to collect PRC (Proceeds Realization Certificate), NOC from the related bank, and other required certificates for Customs audits.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of HS Codes and their application.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Partners or the reporting person.
  • Performing day to day reporting and update Zone Leader with clean PA reporting mechanism Submit export document/bill of exchange to the Bank with required papers (Bill of Entry/Mushok) complying the LC/SC terms and conditions
  • Related task assigned by the management Audit, Bill of Lading and other shipping documents, Certificate of Origin and undertaking, Bond License, Vessel Schedule, Invoice, Packing list, UP, UD, GSP, EXP, BGMEA, NBR, CASH INCENTIVE & other delegates etc.
