We are seeking highly skilled and passionate Event Sommeliers to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role is crucial for delivering an unparalleled beverage experience at various high-profile events, from intimate gatherings to grand galas. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and other beverages, coupled with exceptional service skills and a keen understanding of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate bespoke beverage menus tailored to specific event themes, client preferences, and culinary pairings.
• Provide expert recommendations and engage guests in an informative and engaging manner about wine, spirit, and non-alcoholic beverage selections.
• Oversee the procurement, storage, and inventory management of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for events, ensuring optimal stock levels and quality control.
• Conduct professional wine and beverage service, including proper decanting, pouring, and presentation, adhering to the highest standards of etiquette and efficiency.
• Train and mentor event staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Collaborate closely with event planners, chefs, and catering teams to ensure seamless integration of beverage service with overall event execution.
• Manage beverage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue generation through strategic menu planning and upselling.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of global wine trends, new releases, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all local licensing laws and health and safety regulations pertinent to beverage service in Abu Dhabi.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any beverage-related issues with professionalism and discretion.
