EOT Crane Operator

Job Summary

The EOT Crane Operator shall be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of EOT cranes for material-handling activities. The operator must carry out daily inspections, follow safe working practices, maintain the tools and machines issued for the job, and comply with the Client’s safety rules and regulations.

Language and Age Requirements

• Should be able to speak and understand Hindi, Urdu, or English.
• Age shall not exceed 50 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate EOT cranes safely and efficiently for lifting and material-handling activities.
• Carry out the daily inspection of the EOT crane before starting work.
• Immediately report any defects, abnormalities, or operational issues to the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain the tools and machines issued for the job.
• Understand all applicable safety requirements and employ safe working practices.
• Comply with the Client’s safety rules, regulations, and site procedures.
• Handle materials safely in process plants, dockyards, and heavy engineering work environments.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Crane Operators, Forklift Operators, Mechanics, Riggers, Scaffolders, and Skilled Helpers.
• Follow lifting plans, instructions, signals, and directions provided by the Site Supervisor or authorized personnel.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions around the crane operating area.

Experience and Certification Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the operation of EOT cranes or tower cranes.
• Should be certified as per EIAC requirements.
• Should have experience in material-handling activities in:
• Process plants
• Dockyards
• Heavy engineering works
• Should possess a valid UAE driving licence.

General Conditions

• Should have a valid visa and all necessary documents.
• Should report for duty in proper uniform and with the required personal protective equipment, including:
• Safety helmet
• Safety shoes
• Proper gloves
• Other required PPE
• Should be punctual and must not remain absent from work without a valid reason and prior permission.
• Should work with the Client’s teams comprising Foremen, Crane Operators, Forklift Operators, Mechanics, Riggers, Scaffolders, and Skilled Helpers.
• Should be medically fit in conformity with the regulations laid down by Dubai Municipality’s Health Department.
