About this role:

Ensure full compliance with environmental and fire safety regulations and corporate EHS\&S standards by providing oversight, technical expertise and operational management and control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Environmental Compliance \& Regulatory Management

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations (air emission, wastewater, hazardous chemicals, solid and hazardous waste)
• Perform timely Regulatory and Haleon reporting, submission and online declaration
• Manage environmental permits, licenses and renewals
• Conduct regulatory and Haleon compliance audit and gap assessment; ensure timely closure of findings

2. Environmental Operations \& Management

• Oversee and manage operation of site Wastewater Treatment Plant
• Lead solid and hazardous waste disposal activities
• Supervise waste segregation, handling and disposal including vendor management
• Ensure proper tracking, documentation and waste manifest management
• Coordinate environmental monitoring programs

3. Loss Prevention Management (Fire Safety \& Civil Defence)

• Support annual Public Building safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with fire safety equipment inspections and documentation filing
• Perform fire protection system inspection, maintenance, and servicing
• Coordinate fire safety training, drills and support emergency preparedness activities
• Plan and participate in civil defence activities with local authority

Qualifications \& Skills

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of local environmental and fire safety regulations
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment systems and hazardous waste management
• Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Holding a Class B Wastewater Treatment Specialist Certificate (乙級廢(污) 水處理專責人員證書 ) is required.
• Hands-on experience in wastewater treatment plant operation and management is preferred Experience in fire protection system management and maintenance is a plus.
