English Instructor (After-School)

仕事内容:

英語講師として、子どもたちに楽しく英語を教えるお仕事です。

• 生徒の年齢は現在４歳〜大人まで
• 英語上級者が多いですが、初心者も増えています。
• 初心者がいかに「たのしい！」という気持ちをもって英語環境に浸っていけるか、明るくポジティブに導く役割を担っていただきます。
• 講師は外国人、帰国子女、留学経験者のみの教室です。職場の言語は英語ですので日本にいながら英語力の維持向上が可能です。
• 生徒はインター生、インター卒生、おうち英語生などが多数在籍しています。地域に根差した英語教室ですが、インターナショナルスクールのような雰囲気があり通常の英語教室とは少し異なる高度な英語イマージョン環境が実現しています。

【主な仕事内容】

• 英語のレッスン計画および実施
• 生徒の英語力向上のための個別指導
• 授業中の生徒の進捗確認やフィードバック
• 英語学習に関するイベントの企画・運営
• 保護者とのコミュニケーション、学習状況の報告

求める人材:

《必須条件》
英語に関する深い理解と教える能力を持つ方
ネイティブ並に話せる生徒が多数いるため、英語が流暢であり、少なくとも英検準１級以上、TOEIC800点以上を有することが望ましい
コミュニケーション能力が高く、生徒と保護者両方と信頼関係を築ける方

《歓迎資格・経験など》

• 教員免許や英検、TOEICの資格がある方
• 英会話教室や学校、インターナショナルスクールでの指導経験がある方
• 留学・海外居住経験がある方

勤務時間・曜日:

We are seeking a passionate English language instructor who can work collaboratively as part of our team.

Schedule:
Weekdays from 2:30 to 6:30
Some Saturdays
(The schedule is negotiable.)

Location
Kitahama Station, Chuo ku, Osaka City
Transportation expenses covered up to ¥1,000 per day

Required Qualifications

*Availability to teach at the same time every week

* Strong work ethics
* Ability to work independently
- A teacher who does not always require a time keeper, assistant, or translator in class
* Ability to create lesson plans and take responsibility for improving students' English skills as own mission
* Native or near native English proficiency with the ability to create an immersive learning environment
* Confidence and substantial experience in leading Circle Time activities for young learners
* Professional, reliable, and patient, with a genuine interest in improving teaching methods and supporting student achievement
* Valid visa status permitting work in a private school
(Working Holiday, Engineer or Specialist in Humanities or International Services, Student with work permission, or Permanent Residency)

Preferred Qualifications
* Residence within approximately 30 minutes of the school by train
* Japanese language fluency is a plus
