Engineer (Key Customer)

JOB PURPOSE

The role holder is responsible for managing and supporting key bulk water customers by ensuring reliable service delivery, metering accuracy, and effective coordination between internal teams and customers. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, technical compliance, and performance monitoring.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and maintains relationships with key bulk water customers to ensure high service levels and satisfaction.
  • Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and performance of water meters for key accounts.
  • Ensures metering accuracy, data reliability, and compliance with COMPANY standards and procedures.
  • Provides technical support to customers regarding water metering, billing inquiries, and system operations.
  • Coordinates with internal operations, metering, and customer service teams to resolve customer issues and service disruptions.
  • Monitors service performance, consumption trends, and operational data for bulk water accounts.
  • Prepares performance reports, analyses, and recommendations related to key water accounts.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and customer engagement programs.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate ISO systems, Health and Safety regulations, and operational policies.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and records related to customer interactions and technical activities.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE \& SKILLS

Qualifications / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related

discipline.

Experience

Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in key account management, water distribution systems, or utility operations.

Key Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of water distribution systems and bulk customer operations.
  • Familiarity with smart water metering technologies.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proven ability in technical problem-solving, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office-based with regular coordination meetings and site visits to customer locations.
