Elevator Installation Supervisor
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate elevator and escalator installation activities at project sites.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor installation work to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead and guide installation technicians, assistant technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturer standards.
  • Monitor the quality of installation work and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during installation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, Site Engineer and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all times.
  • Verify material availability and coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams for timely delivery.
  • Maintain daily site reports, installation progress reports, and project documentation.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and final inspections before project handover.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate installation technicians to improve team performance.
  • Ensure all installation activities comply with local authority regulations and company policies.
  • Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in elevator and escalator installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of elevator installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings.
  • Experience supervising installation teams on multiple project sites.
  • Strong understanding of elevator safety standards, installation procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple installation projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English.
