Electrician Trade Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Electrician Trade Assistant to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the electrical construction industry, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Experience in solar or battery installations is highly regarded but not essential. You’ll assist qualified electricians with the installation and commissioning of solar and battery energy systems across residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians in installing solar panels, inverters, and battery systems.
• Perform general electrical construction tasks including cabling, conduit runs, and switchboard preparation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow instructions and work closely with the site supervisor to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in the electrical construction industry (essential).
• Experience in solar or battery installation (advantageous).
• White Card and relevant site safety training.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
