ELECTRICIAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidates will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting works, including:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
• Installing electrical wiring, cables, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and other components.
• Performing electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and identifying the cause of problems.
• Repairing and replacing damaged or faulty electrical components.
• Installing and maintaining lighting systems.
• Checking electrical connections and ensuring they are safe and properly installed.
• Testing electrical systems and equipment using appropriate testing tools.
• Reading and understanding basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Carrying out electrical inspections and reporting any defects or safety issues.
• Maintaining electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensuring all electrical work is completed according to approved procedures and standards.
• Following workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Completing assigned electrical work within the required timeframe.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates with:

• Previous experience working as an Electrician.
• Good practical knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
• Experience with electrical wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, and distribution systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment and hand tools safely.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and professional attitude.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
• Ability to work safely in different working environments.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES

Preference may be given to candidates with:

• Strong hands-on electrical experience.
• Experience in construction, commercial, residential, industrial, or facility maintenance projects.
• Experience with electrical panels and distribution boards.
• Experience with lighting and power installations.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical faults.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Relevant electrical certification or technical qualification, where required.
