Electrician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our hotel maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Inspect electrical systems, wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and breakdowns promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Respond to electrical maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Maintain lighting systems, emergency lighting, power outlets, and other electrical equipment.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and local electrical regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance team when required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and with minimum disruption to hotel operations.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, controls, and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
