Electrician – Full-Time, Permanent

Northern Tec Ltd is looking for an experienced, reliable and organised electrician to join our growing team.

We are a professional electrical and renewable energy contractor delivering domestic and commercial electrical work, EV charging, Solar PV, testing and inspection, and larger installation projects.

Essential requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
• City \& Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• City \& Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification, or equivalent
• More than three years’ practical electrical experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations
• Ability to complete testing, certification and job documentation accurately
• Willingness and ability to work away from home when required

Preferred experience

Previous experience with the following would be advantageous:

• Domestic and commercial EV charger installations
• Solar PV and battery storage installations
• Renewable energy systems
• Commercial electrical projects

The role

You will work across a varied range of projects, including:

• Domestic and commercial electrical installations
• Inspection, testing and certification
• Consumer unit and distribution board upgrades
• EV charger installations
• Solar PV and battery storage projects
• Fault finding and remedial works
• Larger commercial and renewable energy projects
