About the Role LCM Environmental Services Ltd are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our expanding division within a nationwide organisation. Working across commercial and industrial environments, you will play a vital role in supporting the electrical team across a variety of projects. The successful candidate will uphold company and industry standards, adhere to national safety regulations, and deliver a consistently high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Duties

  • Survey sites containing installed electrical systems.
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Complete work orders accurately and record materials used.
  • Identify electrical issues and carry out effective repairs.
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.
  • Advise management on when to replace outdated electrical equipment to prevent potential hazards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues using appropriate electrical testing equipment.

  • Qualifications \& Requirements Essential Qualifications
  • City \& Guilds 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) or QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate (Electrical)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a qualified electrician.City \& Guilds 2391 – Electrical Inspection \& Testing.( QC registration)
  • Compex 01 to 04 and compex 07 to 08 preferred
  • IT literate with the ability to complete electronic documentation.
  • Must be a driver with Ireland licence
