Electrician

• Carry out electrical installation works for commercial, industrial, and MEP projects.
• Install and terminate electrical cables, conduits, cable trays, trunking, junction boxes, isolators, switches, sockets, and other electrical accessories.
• Install and connect distribution boards (DBs), control panels, isolators, starters, contactors, relays, and other electrical equipment.
• Perform cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination, and identification.
• Carry out electrical wiring for HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ventilation fans, chillers, package units, and other mechanical equipment.
• Install and connect control wiring between equipment, control panels, sensors, actuators, and BMS/control systems as required.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment connection diagrams.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical installations, including continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and functional testing.
• Identify electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of motors, pumps, fans, HVAC equipment, and control systems.
• Ensure all electrical installations are properly supported, labelled, terminated, and completed according to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other site teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the work area and ensure tools and materials are safely stored.
• Follow approved method statements, risk assessments, permit-to-work requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Use electrical tools, testing instruments, and PPE correctly and safely.
• Report material requirements, site issues, installation progress, and technical problems to the supervisor.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required.
• Ensure all work is completed within the project schedule and to the required quality standards.

Pay: QAR1,443.03 - QAR4,263.84 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Qatar
