Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Electrical Foreman to lead our field crew on
active construction projects. In this role, you will be the direct link between the project
Engineer / Supervisor and the installation crew. You will spend your day on-site interpreting
drawings, laying out tasks, teaching apprentices, and ensuring the physical work is done
correctly the first time. The ideal candidate is a master of their craft who leads by example,
maintains high energy, and takes personal pride in jobsite safety and workmanship quality.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Crew Supervision \& Layout
Lead the morning huddle to layout specific tasks, run metrics, and assign daily
goals.
Provide hands-on directions to Electricians and Helpers installing conduits, boxes,
fixtures, and panels.
Verify daily crew attendance, sign of on timesheets, and track labor hours
accurately.
Train and mentor apprentices, ensuring they learn correct, code-compliant trade
techniques.
Field Execution \& Blueprint Reading
Translate construction drawings and structural drawings into physical field layouts.
Measure, measure again, and map out paths for conduits, cable trays, and major
feed lines before installation begins.
Identify architectural clashes or design mistakes early and report them immediately
to the project manager.
Perform hands-on electrical work alongside the crew during complex installation
phases.
Material Logistics \& Tool Control
Anticipating material needs 3 to 5 days in advance to request inventory and prevent
crew downtime.
Receive, verify, and secure deliveries of electrical components, wires, and fixtures
on-site.
Enforce tool accountability, ensuring all company machinery and test tools are
maintained and stored safely.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical \& Field Skills
Expert knowledge of commercial or industrial construction installation methods
(bending conduit, pulling wire, setting switchgear).
Exceptional fluency in reading and marking up construction drawings, site diagrams,
and electrical schematics.
Deep, practical working knowledge of the Kahramaa construction codes.
Proficient with heavy trade tools (hydraulic benders, threaders, core drills, and
system multimeters)
Leadership \& Personal Attributes
Clear, authoritative verbal communication style to direct crews and handle
workplace conflicts calmly.
High organizational skills to manage shifting day-to-day material needs and crew
assignments.
Adaptable problem-solving mind to handle changing construction site
environments.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education: High school / ITI or successful completion of a certified electrical
apprenticeship
Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of field experience as a commercial/industrial
construction electrician, with 1–2 years serving as a lead journeyman or subforeman
