Dispatch Officer
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily dispatch of goods and materials
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurately prepared and documented
  • Verify orders against invoices, delivery notes, and packing lists
  • Coordinate with warehouse/store teams for order picking and packing
  • Arrange transport and coordinate with drivers/couriers for deliveries
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers/sites
  • Maintain dispatch records and update inventory systems accordingly
  • Handle delivery-related queries, delays, or issues efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping procedures
  • Prepare daily dispatch reports for management review

Required Skills \& Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and logistics processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems preferred
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UAE/GCC experience preferred
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution industry
  • Knowledge of transport coordination and routing is an advantage
