Job Description

Digital Marketing Manager

The Australian Academy of Media (RTO 45017) is a specialist training provider delivering high-quality creative arts, music and media training across schools and community settings throughout Sydney. We are a friendly, supportive team passionate about equipping young people with real-world creative skills.

We’re growing and we need someone who makes things happen!

This is a hands-on role. You are the doer, the executor, the person who gets results. You will shape and own our marketing function — building the systems, running the campaigns, and driving the revenue.

If you like sitting in strategy meetings talking about what could be done, this is NOT the role for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Run our digital marketing across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and beyond — end to end
  • Build and manage social and Google Ads campaigns from day one
  • Own SEO and website conversion
  • Write copy, shoot content, edit video — whatever it takes
  • Build and manage email marketing and automated lead nurture sequences
  • Manage our CRM and EDMs — HubSpot, Flodesk or similar
  • Build automations and workflows that connect our tools and scale our output
  • Manage our lead pipeline and make sure enquiries convert
  • Use AI tools to move fast and produce more without producing less quality
  • Report on what’s working and cut what isn’t — quickly

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who has actually grown a brand and driven revenue — not just managed accounts
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and organic social
  • Proven ability to build and manage CRM systems and email automation
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Zapier
  • Strong content creation skills across video, photography and copy highly desirable
  • Fluent in AI tools and how to leverage them commercially
  • Understanding of landing page and funnel building
  • Comfortable with Google Analytics and performance reporting
  • Experience in education, training or the VET sector is highly regarded
  • Fast, decisive and self-directed — you don’t need to be told twice
  • You care about brand but you care more about results
  • You pick up the phone when you need to

What success looks like in the first 30 days

  • Enquiry volume is moving
  • Paid ads are live and being optimised
  • Our CRM and automation systems are set up and running
  • Our social channels are producing consistent, quality content
  • You’ve identified the fastest revenue opportunities and are already executing on them

If this is you, apply straight away.

We are a friendly, passionate team who love what we do.

Free on-site parking is available at our Rouse Hill campus.

This is an immediate start role — we are ready to move quickly for the right person.

To apply, send your CV and a brief cover note telling us why you’re the right person for the role.
