Objectives : Diesel mechanics are responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. Their duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles they have serviced.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair, overhaul of all types of diesel engine vehicles.
- Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Troubleshoot / test the engine to diagnose the problem and identifies the root cause of the problem and prepare a list of all material and spare parts required to carry out the job.
-Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.
- Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Maintaining a parts inventory.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop.
- Two (2) years full training in technical institute as an apprentice leading to a position of a recognized diploma in an auto mechanic.
- Must have minimum secondary level of education.
- Age between 30 and 45 years old
- Shall be capable to read, speak, write, and understand English language, additional Arabic will be advantage.
- Must have Five (05) years’ experience for all kind of vehicles.
Pay: QAR1,900.00 per month
