Job Description

Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Machinery Electrician

Location: Industrial Area, Doha, Qatar

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Diesel Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems across our equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will be skilled in engine overhauls, hydraulics, electrical systems, and routine preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, engine overhauls, and mechanical repairs on heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, telehandlers/loadalls, generators, and trucks).
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy diesel engines (e.g., Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo).
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, hoses, and cylinder leaks.
  • Diagnose electrical faults, starting/charging systems, and operating control boards on machinery.
  • Perform field service breakdown repairs or workshop overhauls as required.
  • Test drive or operational-test machinery post-repair to ensure safety and performance compliance.
  • Maintain clean job cards, daily service logs, and workshop safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy construction machinery or heavy vehicles.
  • Solid knowledge of diesel engine assemblies, hydraulic systems, fuel injection systems, and pneumatic brakes.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and specialized workshop equipment.
  • Must be currently located in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable status (NOC).
  • Valid Qatar Driving License is a strong plus.

Pay: From QAR1,500.00 per month
