Diesel Engine Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel engines used in heavy construction equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and engine-related problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Inspect and maintain equipment such as excavators, JCBs, loaders, bulldozers, generators, and other diesel-powered machinery.
• Repair or replace defective engine components, fuel systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic components.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Identify mechanical faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Maintain service records and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Engine Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Experience in construction equipment and heavy machinery is required.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience repairing JCBs, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently and handle maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
