Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc)
  • B.Sc / M.Sc Engineer in CSE/CS from any reputed University.
Experience
  • At least 2 years
Additional Requirements
  • Age 25 to 30 years
  • Possess professional experience in DevOps roles, specifically emphasizing on-premises solutions.
  • Certification in DevOps or related areas would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate expertise in on-premises solutions utilizing virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). -
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and associated technologies.
  • Knowledge of on-premises monitoring tools.
  • Previous hands-on experience with on-premises solutions, such as Docker, Kubernetes, ansible, Jekins.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain automated build/test/deployment systems.
  • Implement and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Manage system configurations and automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) solutions.
  • Collaborate with all required parties / teams to ensure smooth delivery workflows.
  • Set up and maintain system monitoring and logging tools.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across environments.
  • Manage and maintain version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Continuously optimize system performance and resource utilization.
  • Utilize collaboration and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Manage release processes and ensure reliable software delivery.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies.
  • Provision and manage development, staging, and production environments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging DevOps tools and practices.
  • Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.
