DevOps / Cloud Engineer
Reports to: Solution Architect \| Engagement: Full-time; Immediate Joiner
Role purpose: Builds and operates Azure landing zones and multi-environment estates (production active/passive, test/UAT, training) as infrastructure-as-code.
Key responsibilities:
▪ Author IaC (Bicep/Terraform) for complete landing zones; build controlled CI/CD promotion pipelines.
▪ Implement geo-redundant backup and DR runbooks to defined RPO/RTO objectives, with periodic DR exercises.
▪ Operate capacity monitoring, autoscaling, cost telemetry, and monthly consumption reporting.
▪ Run production monitoring with severity-based response rotas (P1 within minutes).
Qualifications \& certifications: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) mandatory; DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) preferred.
Experience: 6+ years Azure operations/DevOps on production government workloads.
Languages: English - Mandatory \| Arabic - Advantageous
