Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive DevOps /* CloudEngineer* to design, implement, and maintain the cloud‑native infrastructure that supports our project‑management platforms, BIM tools, and procurement systems. You will work closely with software developers, system architects, and field engineers to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of all services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for automated build, test, and deployment of application code.
- Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS/EKS) for micro‑service workloads.
- Configure and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
- Ensure security best practices: IAM policies, network segmentation, secret management (Vault, Azure Key Vault), vulnerability scanning, and compliance with Saudi data‑protection regulations.
- Optimize cost and performance of cloud services, implementing auto‑scaling, right‑sizing, and reserved‑instance strategies.
- Automate routine operational tasks via scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Provide on‑call support and incident response for production environments; conduct post‑mortems and root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements and assist in architectural decisions.
- Maintain documentation of architectures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Cloud Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- IaC Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to write reusable Terraform or CloudFormation modules (or Azure Bicep).
- Containers \&* Orchestration:* Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm charts).
- CI/CD: Experience building automated pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Scripting: Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python for automation tasks.
- Monitoring \&* Logging:* Experience with Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks, or native cloud monitoring tools.
- Security \&* Compliance:* Understanding of IAM, network security groups, encryption at rest/in‑transit, and familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Saudi Cloud Computing Regulatory Framework).
- Version Control: Strong Git workflow skills (branching, pull requests, merge conflict resolution).
- Communication: Excellent English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
Desired (but not required) Skills
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Engineer, or similar.
- Experience with serverless services (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Knowledge of Terraform Cloud/Enterprise or Azure DevOps Boards for infrastructure change management.
- Familiarity with data‑pipeline tools (AWS Data Pipeline, Azure Data Factory).
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices (Snyk, Checkov, Trivy).
