Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer \& Project Manager to lead the large-scale renovation of Grossmont Gardens, an assisted living community in La Mesa, CA. This in-house position will oversee all aspects of interior design, sourcing, budgeting, and project management for the renovation of common areas, model rooms, and exterior enhancements. The role will also extend to supporting renovation and design projects at other properties across California, requiring occasional travel.
Key ResponsibilitiesInterior Design \& Concept Development
- Design and create renderings and concept presentations for ownership approval, including:
- Common areas
- Model rooms
- Exterior enhancements
- Select paint, flooring, window coverings, artwork, signage, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF\&E).
- Develop branding and aesthetic cohesion across properties while keeping the needs of senior living residents in mind.
Project Management \& Procurement
- Develop project budgets based on approved designs.
- Source materials and furnishings both online and through in-person vendors.
- Obtain multiple bids for major purchases and services.
- Coordinate and supervise installation and construction teams to ensure execution aligns with design vision.
Marketing \& Administrative Support
- Assist with marketing materials, collateral, and digital content creation.
- Support updates to the website and social media for Grossmont Gardens and other properties.
- Handle additional administrative tasks as needed to support ownership and management teams.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
