-Certified dental assistant, harp certified. No foreign trained dentists/ assistant. Full time position.
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations of the office
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
