Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled, proactive, and professional Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate must be fully competent in four-handed dentistry, capable of anticipating the dentist's needs seamlessly, and proficient in both clinical assistance across multiple specialties and advanced diagnostic imaging. You will play a vital role in clinic workflow efficiency, infection control, compliance log maintenance, emergency clinical response, and cross-departmental reporting, while projecting an exemplary professional and hygienic standard.

Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Location: Must be currently residing in Riyadh.
  • Nationality/Status: Saudi National OR a Resident with a Valid \& Transferable Iqama.
  • Licensing: Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Classification and Registration as a Dental Assistant or Dental Nurse.
  • Life Support Certifications: Must hold a valid BLS or PALS certification.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in English and moderate conversational fluency in Arabic.
  • Technical Skills: High computer literacy, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and dental EMR software.
  • Professional Image \& Hygiene: Must maintain immaculate personal hygiene, strict grooming standards, and pristine clinical attire paired with a poised, confident, and professional attitude.

Core Duties \& Responsibilities1. Clinical Assistance, Four-Handed Dentistry \& Setup Anticipation

  • Operate efficiently in a high-standard four-handed dentistry environment, preparing all necessary setups in advance to ensure smooth workflows without delays or direct orders.
  • Anticipate clinical needs meticulously: Review the schedule, forecast exactly what the dentist needs or mightneed for any given case, and ensure every single tool, instrument, and material is prepared and chairside before the procedure begins.
  • Assist across all dental specialties, including but not limited to: Restorative (Fillings, Fiber Posts \& Core Buildups), Endodontics (RCT), Oral Surgery (Extractions), and Prosthodontics/Esthetics (Crowns, Veneers, Impressions).
  • Expertly mix, manipulate, and prepare all dental materials, cements, and bases for immediate application by the treating dentist.

2. Emergency Response \& Institutional Committees

  • Maintain readiness to be assigned as an active member of the center’s Code Blue Team or other urgent medical response protocols, leveraging BLS/PALS training to support patient stabilization during medical emergencies.
  • Actively participate in clinical, quality improvement, or safety committees and working teams as assigned by healthcare management.

3. Aesthetic Care, Teeth Whitening \& Shade Matching

  • Actively assist the dentist in shade matching for cosmetic and restorative procedures, utilizing shade guides and proper lighting setup to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Prepare the clinical setup for In-Office Bleaching (Teeth Whitening) procedures.
  • Assist the dentist during whitening material application, and remain dedicatedly chairside with the patient throughout the whitening cycles to monitor comfort, manage sensitivity, and oversee safety.

4. Dental Laboratory Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end dental laboratory workflow for the assigned clinic: dispatch lab orders, track production timelines, receive the completed prostheses/cases, and immediately present them to the treating doctor for quality inspection prior to the patient's delivery appointment.

5. Diagnostics, Scanning, \& Digital Dentistry

  • Independently operate and take dental radiographs, including Periapicals (PAs), Bitewings (BWs), Panoramic x-rays, and CBCTs.
  • Perform Intraoral Scanning (Digital Impressions) as well as traditional impression techniques with high accuracy.
  • Perform extended clinical duties when required, including performing prophylaxis/polishing for patients prior to being examined by the dentist.

6. Patient Care \& Clinic Management

  • Independently conduct and document the Nursing Assessment (vital signs, medical history, chief complaint) before the dentist enters the room, greeting patients with an exemplary professional demeanor.
  • Review the daily schedule in advance, prepare the necessary trays/materials for scheduled procedures, and brief the doctor on the upcoming cases.

7. Material Inventory, Excel Tracking \& Expiry Management

  • Maintain full ownership of the assigned clinic's material inventory, ensuring all storage is organized systematically.
  • Enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for expired materials: Routinely audit, log, and update material expiry dates. Immediately remove any material approaching expiration from the clinical area.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track inventory levels, monitor consumption patterns, log expiration dates, and generate accurate stock replenishment requests.

8. Healthcare Compliance, Waste Management \& Facility Presentation

  • Ensure the assigned clinic environment is exceptionally clean, pristine, professional, and highly representable at all times.
  • Strictly comply with and enforce infection control protocols in full alignment with CBAHI, MOH, GDIPC (General Directorate of Infection Prevention and Control), and Optident clinical standards.
  • Maintain flawless clinical records: Diligently complete, update, and monitor all digital operational logs, including cleaning checklists, equipment maintenance records, and environmental monitoring charts (temperature/humidity).
  • Safely and correctly handle, segregate, and dispose of biomedical waste, including sharps containers and hazardous clinical waste, adhering strictly to facility and national protocols.

9. Professional Relationships \& Conduct

  • Establish and maintain excellent professional relationships based on mutual respect, clear communication, and collaboration with all peers, superiors, and administrative staff.
  • Consistently project the clinic's premium standards through a professional attitude, disciplined workspace habits, meticulous personal hygiene, and an elegant clinical presence.

10. Documentation, Reporting \& Computer Literacy

  • Accurately perform daily data entry into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, documenting dentist notes, completed procedures, treatment plans, and patient progress notes.
  • Draft and present professional digital reports regarding inventory, compliance, or operational constraints using Excel and corporate systems, presenting them directly to the treating doctor, clinic management, or other internal departments as required.

Pay: ﷼1,657.82 - ﷼4,500.00 per month
