Dental Assistant

Welcome to 5000 Yonge Smiles Dental! We are a modern, warm, and patient-centered dental practice. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certified Dental Assistant (Level II) to join our growing team on Fridays for general and surgical dentistry.

Providing a comfortable patient experience and maintaining the highest clinical standards are at the core of what we do. Bilingualism (English and Korean or Japanese or Chinese) is a strong asset for connecting with our diverse community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of general and surgical dental procedures. Knowledge about orthodontics is a plus.
• Prepare, turn over, and maintain treatment rooms to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Execute and maintain rigorous infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols, including meticulous sterilization processes and daily biological indicators.
• Take high-quality digital radiographs and diagnostic records.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain accurate electronic charting.

Qualifications \& Skills

• Valid Certified Level II Dental Assistant (CDA II) credentials.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional fluency in English, alongside proficiency in Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
• Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and clinical protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities, with a warm, compassionate demeanor.
• Commitment to maintaining exceptional IPAC and clinical safety standards.
