About the role Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) are seeking an experienced Data Visualisation Developer to join a high performing Data Reporting team. This role is responsible for developing data reports and ensuring the data insights are communicated effectively across the organisation. In addition, this role is also responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests, working with stakeholders to understand their requirements, as well as monitoring the use and effectiveness of our data visualisation products by collecting feedback and implementing necessary adjustments.This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.About you As our ideal candidate, you will possess:* Strong understanding of data visualisation design principles, including best practices for visual clarity, effective storytelling, and user experience (mandatory). * Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with stakeholders with unclear or evolving requirements. * Tertiary qualification in in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Accounting or a related field (or equivalent professional experience in a similar role). * Formal Certifications in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik (highly regarded).
