Specific requirements:
- In-depth familiarity with security policies based on industry standards and best practices;
- Broad architectural background with full-lifecycle experience of delivering IT Securitysolutions;
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in working with project supporting methodologies and tools:
o PM2,
o PMP,
o PRINCE,
o ServiceNow;
- Knowledge and experience in managing cybersecurity projects for EU classified environments;
- Experience in supporting management of resources, budgets, and priorities for programme/project/portfolios related to cybersecurity investments.
Typical tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing effectively and efficiently the project within its complete lifecycle and scope;
- Establishing and managing project controls in order to ensure that milestones are met and project products are delivered on time and within scope and the business goals are enabled;
- Assuring and controlling quality of the project deliverables;
- Identifying, tracking, monitoring, and communicating project issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during implementation;
- Liaising with the Project Board and other key stakeholders;
- Assigning and controlling tasks, authorising work packages, balancing priorities and workload within the team, and motivating team members;
- Planning and controlling project products delivery processes;
Managing effective communication within the project and with the external environment;
- Producing project management products (plans, logs, schedules) and defining responsibilities of parties involved in the project;
Preparing and presenting oral and written technical reports and project presentations;
- Organising and conducting project meetings.
Required certificates:
At least 4 certifications are required as follows:
Cybersecurity domain (min. 2):
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- ISO/IEC 27001 Security Associate
Project / IT Service Management domain (min. 2):
- PM2 Advanced
- Prince 2 Practitioner
- PMP
- ITIL Foundation
Each equivalent certification must be recognized internationally.
Knowledge and skills:
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and controls, and risk management expertise (e.g., defence-in-depth and Zero-trust architectures, cyber threats and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management, etc.);
- Thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs;
In-depth understanding of legal and ethical aspects of cybersecurity;
Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and compliance;
Understanding best practice frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
Skills:
- Advanced project management skills, including risk and quality management;
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities;
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Vendor and procurement management skills;
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to produce high-quality materials and presentations.
