Cybersecurity Control Officer

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Control Officer to join an international project and support the governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity compliance initiatives. You will act as a key liaison between cybersecurity teams, project stakeholders, and Group reviewers, ensuring the successful delivery of security programs, the collection of compliance evidence, and the alignment with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

  • Support program and project governance, monitoring deliveries, milestones, risks, and dependencies while escalating attention points when required.
  • Document project activities, including plans, status reports, risk analyses, and recommendations supporting program decisions.
  • Prepare and coordinate governance committees by managing schedules, meeting materials, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned projects or business scopes, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collect, assess, and challenge evidence demonstrating compliance with cybersecurity requirements and maturity expectations.
  • Support alignment with cybersecurity frameworks by coordinating with Group reviewers, documenting positions, and tracking remediation actions.
  • Improve reporting capabilities through the definition and monitoring of operational KPIs and maturity indicators.
  • Identify, prioritize, and support automation opportunities across governance, reporting, evidence collection, and monitoring processes.
  • Promote process standardization and reduce manual effort through the implementation of templates, reporting pipelines, and scalable controls.

Your Main Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains, risks, and security governance practices.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in project governance, program management, or cybersecurity control functions.
  • Ability to challenge evidence, assess risks, and provide well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Good understanding of IT processes, infrastructure, applications, and digital environments.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Fluency in French is considered a strong plus.
