Duties/role:
- Designing and proposing secure architecture to implement the organisation’s strategy;
- Developing organisation’s cybersecurity architecture to address security and privacy requirements;
- Producing architectural documentation and specifications;
- Presenting high-level security architecture to stakeholders;
- Establishing a secure environment during the development life-cycle of systems, service, and/or products;
- Leading the development, integration and maintenance of cybersecurity components ensuring the cybersecurity specifications are met;
- Analysing and evaluating the cybersecurity of the organisation’s architecture;
- Assuring the security of the solution architectures through security reviews;
- Collaborating with key security personnel and other teams in applying the security principles in the architecture;
- Evaluating the impact of cybersecurity solutions on the design and performance of the organisation’s architecture;
- Adapting the organisation’s security architecture to emerging threats;
- Assessing the implemented architecture to maintain an appropriate level of security;
- Performing market evaluation to identify appropriate solutions to business requirements;
- Evaluating security solutions through proof of concepts;
- Designing solutions including service aspects (cf. ITIL Service design activities);
- Contributing to the definition of the security architectural blueprint;
- Integrating new solutions with existing framework based on a security architectural blueprint;
- Transitioning solutions to teams in charge of daily operations;
- Balancing technological opportunities with business processes requirements;
- Maintaining a holistic view of the organisation’s strategy, processes, information and ICT assets;
- Linking the business mission, strategy and processes to the ICT and Cyber Defence strategies;
- Aligning Cyber Security strategy and planning with the organisation’s business goals;
- Streamlining business processes, functions, procedures and workflows and applying a consistent implementation approach;
- Recommending resolutions and improvements;
- Ensuring that technical solutions, procedures and models for development are up-to-date and comply with standards;
- Watching technology development and integrating into new solutions.
