Hornby Service Fixed Term Starting June 2026 Job description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative for Hornby Branch, Christchurch. This is a 8-month fixed-term full-time position to cover maternity leave, from June to February 2027. Tasks and Responsibilities: -Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience. -Confidently handle customer interactions over the phone and face to face. -Process sales orders and prepare quotes accurately. -Understand a wide range of technology products and communicate technical information clearly to customers. -Assist customers with inquiries and provide effective solutions to their problems. - Support check-out counter and retail sales team when required Requirements

The successful candidate should have: -Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software (preferred but not essential). -Previous experience in a phone-based customer service role is an advantage. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. -Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
