CARTERS Hamilton is looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative to join their team. This hands-on role involves fulfilling customer orders and operating a forklift to load products onto delivery trucks.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and pride themselves on delivering exceptional, timely, and safe service to our customers. With your high energy and can-do attitude, you can expect to:

• Operate a forklift to load and unload products, ensuring stock is put away in a timely manner
• Fulfilling customer orders accurately and preparing despatch and transfer documentation
• Participate in cycle counts and stock checks, reporting any discrepancies promptly
• Maintain a clean, tidy yard and store area at all times
• Identify and report health and safety hazards, ensuring customers and visitors safety
• Support the wider branch team to meet and exceed KPIs and branch targets
• Building genuine relationships with customers and colleagues

About you

You will be the perfect fit for this role if you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and have the following skills and qualities:

• Valid FULL New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Competency in operating a Forklift with F Endorsed Licence and OSH Certificate
• A team player with the right attitude.
• A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.
• Basic computer skills
• Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry.
• Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling
• Building industry knowledge is advantageous.
