We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk Analyst to join our Risk Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk analyses across various areas of the organisation, identifying potential risks, and providing actionable insights to mitigate these risks. The role will also act as the primary credit risk contact for the Asia region, supporting regional trading, operations and management teams on counterparty credit matters, limit reviews, exposure monitoring and escalation of emerging risks. The role involves collaborating with different departments to develop risk management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Act as the key credit risk contact for the Asia region, working with regional stakeholders to support credit assessments, exposure monitoring, limit management and timely escalation of credit risk matters.
Perform credit assessments and review existing and new counterparty limits, country and sector limits, while ensuring ongoing management of dealing limits and exposures.
Active risk management of the group's current assets.
Manage the internal risk grading system to conduct thorough risk assessments on third parties.
Monitor and track risk exposures, ensuring adherence to risk limits and taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
Report to the Credit Committee, senior management, and group offices, and ensure effective capture and reporting of the group's risk exposures.
Participate in Credit Committee meetings, provide input on risk-related matters such as limit approvals and exposures.
Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of risk management practices within the organization.
Manage and report on the company's diverse global portfolio of counterparties,
Evaluate, develop, and implement of risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.

We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, risk management, or a related field.
Proven experience in risk analysis, preferably within a financial institution or a large corporation
Self-starter with the ability to use initiative for problem solving
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
Familiarity with risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Business level fluency in English (both written and verbal)
Strong I.T. skills including proficiency in Excel and Word
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Resourceful, innovative and proactive
Personable with the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels both internally and externally
