Pathways (High Level)
The Position:
- Pathways Outreach consists of teaching students Grade 7 to 12, with an average of 213 total students. One location is in High Level, the other in La Crete.
- Teach courses in Art,
Communication, and Design. Located in the Gramson Centre (High Level), Pathways
offers access to photography equipment, 2D and 3D printing technologies, and
digital media production tools. The ideal candidate is creative, comfortable
with technology, and passionate about supporting students through hands-on,
project-based learning. Experience with creative technologies is an asset, and
additional training can be provided.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid work permit
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education or applicable equivalent
- Must be eligible to obtain or have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Willing to relocate to northern Alberta
Incentives:
- Attractive Salary - $71,461 to $115,716 depending on experience and education
- $5,000 Transitional Allowance, prorated based on start date
- $6,300 Northern Allowance, prorated by FTE for part-time teachers
